Homestay Tour Itinerary.
HT 1.: 7 Days 6 Nights Mae hong son homestay Tour.
Departs : every Monday and Thursday.

A homestay tour explore "the land of the three mists".
For those who want to learn and feel northern Thai warm welcome and hospitallity, easy going
way-of life of local people and hill tribe people.
Visit the Longneck karen, the Hmong, the red Karen, the black Lahu and the red Lahu,
the Lisu hilltribe villages and the Shan village, the waterfall, the hot spring,
the fish cave, the Lode cave, and the Wat Jong-klang, the Wat Jong-com and the Wat Kong Mu in the
Burmese style temples, the Shan local market. The elephant riding and the bamboo rafting included.
Day 1. Chiang mai.
The homestay tour group arrival Chiang mai town. First the afternoon meeting at the Park hotel explain the trip.
After the tour visit Doi Suthep temple and evening enjoy the Khan Tok dinner. you will be entertained by selection of northern Thailand cultural performances. Overnight in the Park Chiang Mai hotel .

Day 2. Chiang Mai - Sop Pong.
Depart Chiang Mai by minibus 8.30 a.m. to the north chiang mai Mae Sa valley.
Then continue visit the elephant show, take the elephant riding 1 hour and visit orchid farm, the local market. After visit the Hmong hill tribe village,
here you will have an inside look into their daily life.
Afterwards drive to visit hot spring and lunch at the local restaurant, then
drive to visit the Lisu hill tribe village.
Then continue to Pai town overnight in the red Lahu village head man hut.

Day 3. The red lahu village - Sop Pong.
After breakfast learn and feel warm welcome and hospitallity easy going way-of life of the red Lahu hill tribe people, learn Thai cooking with your guide and overnight and dinner the in village
headman's hut.

Day 4. The red lahu village - Sop Pong.
After breakfast learn agricultural more direct contact with the local environment, culture and way of life doing mnay activities with
the red Lahu hill tribe people. Overnight and dinner in the red Lahu village head man hut.

Day 5. Sop Pong - Mae hong son.
After breakfast, we visit the Water Cave, Tam
Lod, a large limestone cave with a wide stream running through
it. Tam Lod is one of the two local caves which happen to be
the largest. Besides the main chamber there are three side chambers
that can be reached by ladder, it takes two or three hours to
see the whole thing. Lunch at local restaurant in Soppong town. Continue to
visit the black Lahu hill tribe village then moving to Mae hong son and take
the long tail boat 1.30 hours. Overnight
at The Rook Holiday resort. In the evening we will have dinner at a local restaurant
and a stroll around the night market.

Day 6. Mae hong son.
After breakfast enjoy a tour to visit the long neck Karen, the big ears, the red Karen, and the chinese KMT village and the hill tribe market then go to visit the Wat Kong moo, Wat Jong com, Wat Jong klang in the Burmese style temples.
Continue to lunch in the local restaurant and visit the fish cave. After transfer back to Chiang Mai town overnight at the Park hotel.

Day 7. Depart Chiang mai.
After breakfast enjoy a tour to visit the San Kamphaeng
shopping local handicrafts center. The visitor may watch artisans working in
several outlying villages, in genuine cottage industries, parasols, Thai
silk and cotton weaving, jewellery, celadon, silverware, woodcarving,
lacquerware, Saa paper umbrella are manufactured and number among popular purchases,
and the remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. After transfer to Chiang Mai airport.
